The Silent Academy recently shook hands with Philip Newcombe of meantime press. 

Sharing a mutual approach to the disruption of habitual thinking it was agreed that meantime press will operate as an imprint of The Silent Academy. 

Last year meantime press released the work of reclusive poet Stanley White. His handmade collection is called ‘whale noise and sleeping pills’ and it is now available to order from The Silent Academy online store.

The Silent Academy takes no financial cut from the sale of Stanley’s work. He is paid in units of twenty-one pound coins, which are dispatched in canvas purses. Stanley can then sustain his quiet habits and continue writing his beautiful things.

“whale noise and sleeping pills” is a very limited edition run. Delivery may be relatively slow, but you may want to hurry in making an order.
