In HANGOVERS Philip Newcombe shares a sequence of images that capture beautiful/hideous breakfasts eaten across a decade’s worth of hangovers. Beside plates of ill-advised food are disquieting headlines in opened tabloid newspapers. The result is a document of time, place and process - ten years in an apparently inescapable landscape of grotesque and mundane beauty. Often grim, sometimes humorous, unusually arresting.
